Lafayette, La. – The Acadiana Cane Cutters win at the Victoria Generals with a score of 6-4. The game was a close one, but the Cane Cutters ended up on top.

The Cane Cutters started the game off strong scoring 4 runs in just the first inning! Cade Crosby (Nicholls State) totaled 2 hits on the night, batting in one run during the victory. Matt Abshire (Pensacola) was successful at bat, also totaling 2 hits with one run batted in. The Cane Cutters had a successful night batting, totaling 7 hits on their way to victory.

The Cane Cutters had a great night on the mound, allowing just 6 hits and 4 runs. Henry Shuffler (ULM) started the night off strong, pitching for the first 4 innings with only 4 hits allowed, and striking out 5 batters! John Gray (UNO) had himself a night while helping the Cane Cutters win the game, with 0 hits, 0 runs, and 0 walks, and striking out 3 batters.
