The Acadiana Cane Cutters advance to the third game in Baton Rouge against the Rougarou.

At Fabacher Field, the Cane Cutters found themselves down by two runs in the sixth inning, but tied it up in the bottom of the inning with runs from Jake Faris and Parker Gwyn.

For the next three innings, Hudson Spangler and Kade Linn kept Rougarou away from home plate with three combined strikeouts. 

On home plate, Gwyn finished the game with a walk-off home run in the bottom of the ninth and gave the Cane Cutters the win 3-2.

Gwyn was the hero of the night, going 4-2 with his at-bats and claiming two runs and two RBIs.

On the mound for the Acadiana Cane Cutters, Rayce Giddens played hard for six straight innings with six strikeouts before being substituted for Spangler.

Tomorrow night, the Cane Cutters will face off against the Rougarou in Baton Rouge for a chance to advance to the TCL Championship. Stay tuned on TCL TV at 7 p.m. and support our Cane Cutters to the Championship.
