The Cane Cutters fall short in the first game of the playoffs07/29/2025 9:59 PM -
The Acadiana Cane Cutters start the playoffs with a close loss to the Baton Rouge Rougarou, 5-4. As the Cane Cutters were down by five in the fifth inning, Isaiah Castenada and Cody Breaux found their way home by multiple errors made by the Rougarou. In the next inning, Acadiana hit hard in their next at-bat and found a way to make it a one-run game from Colton Harrison’s third single of the night to score an RBI and a run from Peyton Woods from a fielder's choice. Tomorrow at 7:00 p.m., the Cane Cutters will play against the Rougarou at Fabacher Field, and Acadiana encourages all fans to watch the second game of the playoffs at Fabacher Feild. The game will have free admission, and Super Bowl champion Brandon Mitchell and Former touchdown leader Johnny Hector will be there alongside Louisiana Wrestling Alliance stars. You can also watch the game live from your home as it will be live stream on TCL TV. |
