Spence Drake

Bench Coach

The Hartfield Academy alum Drake joins the Cane Cutters for the first time this season. He serves as the primary hitting coach and first base coach. 

Drake spent four years with Louisiana Tech's baseball program (2019-22) as the head student manager working in statistics and general practice fundamentals. After a very successful run with the Bulldogs, Drake joined the University of West Alabama’s coaching staff as a Graduate Assistant (2023-24) while pursuing his Master's Degree. Drake most recently accepted a position with Belhaven University as a recruiting coordinator and hitting coach.

Spence Drake's future goal is to become an athletic director for an NCAA Division I program.
