The Acadiana Cane Cutters finish their weekend series with a loss to the Victoria Generals, 5-3.
In the first three innings, the Generals quickly took a 3-1 lead while the Cane Cutters managed to gain a run from an RBI single by Michael Latulas.
Acadiana scored two additional runs from walks while the bases were loaded in the seventh, but struggled to score any more the rest of the game.
The Acadiana Cane Cutters only won two of their last ten games and look to turn it around next week. On July 8, the Cane Cutters take on the Baton Rouge Rougarou. The first pitch will be thrown at 7:00 p.m. and will be broadcast on TCL TV.
