Acdiana Cane Cutters lost 9-2 to the Baton Rouge Rougarou.

In the beginning, the Cane Cutters were down by four runs, until they managed to make it a two-run game from an unearned run by Christian Hallmark running home after an error made by the Baton Rouge catcher and a home run by Colton Harrison in the fourth.

The Cane Cutters’ momentum was put to a halt after the Rougarou rallied five runs in the fifth, and Acadiana went scoreless the rest of the night.

On the mound, the Cutters used five pitchers and managed to throw only four strikeouts.

The Cane Cutters are now tied with the Gumbeaux Gators for their spot in the TCL playoffs.

Tonight, they face the Rougarou again in Youngsville, hoping to stay ahead of the Gators. The first pitch is at 7:00 p.m. and will be broadcast on TCL TV.
