CANE CUTTER ROSTER REVEAL Part 3

YOUNGSVILLE - The Cane Cutters are proud to welcome three of our new players coming from community colleges, two of which are from Acadiana!

 

 

 

Hunter Azemar is a sophomore catcher from Holmes Community College in Goodman, Miss.

 

Azemar, a native of Lafayette, has played in 51 games this season for Holmes.

 

In those 51 games, Azemar sports a .335 batting average, recording 58 hits, 50 runs, 55 RBIs, and 14 home runs, while being struck out five times. Azemar also stole seven bases.

 

Azemar played high school baseball at Southside High School in Youngsville.

 

Next, Christian Hallmark is a freshman outfielder from Navarro Community College in Corsicana, Texas.

 

Hallmark, a native of San Antonio, Texas, has played in 43 games this season for Navarro.

In those 43 games, Hallmark bolstered a .222 batting average, recording 30 hits on 135 at-bats, scoring 30 runs, 20 RBIs, and walked 25 times.

 

Hallmark played high school baseball at Brandeis High School in San Antonio.

 

Finally, Lucas Harrington is a Sophomore pitcher from Copiah-Lincoln Community College in Natchez, Miss.

 

Harrington, a native of Youngsville, has played in 38 games this season for Co-Lin.

 

In those 38 games, Harrington held a .308 batting average, recording 28 hits on 91 at-bats, scoring 20 runs, 32 RBIs, six home runs, and walked 15 times.

 

Harrington played high school baseball at Southside High School.
