Ricky VanAsselbergHead Coach
VanAsselberg born in Alexandria, Louisiana was a college athlete at Baptist Christian College in Shreveport. In college, VanAsselberg was a two-time All-American, National Small College World Series MVP, and a two-time Small College World Series Champion. After his four-year run in college, VanAsselberg spent seven seasons playing professional baseball, including some time in the Baltimore Orioles' minor league system, before turning a new leaf and becoming a manager. He went on to manage in pro ball for a decade, winning two sets of back-to-back championships in Alexandria (United League) and Shreveport and Grand Prairie (TX) (American Association). He is married to Sandi VanAsselberg and has two Kids.
