Cane Cutters Dominate On The Mound and At The Plate To Win Wednesday Nights Game 9-007/02/2025 9:18 PM -
Acadiana, LA | July 2, 2025 After a wild 14-13 loss on Tuesday night, Wednesday’s game two matchup was all Cane Cutters at Fabacher Field. The highlight and player of the game came from starting pitcher Rayce Giddens. In his first start as a Cane Cutter and second ever appearance, Giddens went six scoreless innings allowing only two hits, three walls and struck out six batters. The bullpen picked up right where Giddens left off with Hudson Spangler, Jacob Baker and Kade Linn throwing a scoreless inning each, all not allowing a single hit and striking out five. In the batters box, Acadiana picked up right where they left off the night prior putting up nine runs led by Trevor Durr and Peyton Woods with three RBIs each. Christian Hallmark, Rigoberto Hernandez, John Maldonado Jr and Colton Harrison all scored twice in the effort. Cutters now hit the road for a two series road stretch at Seguin versus the River Monsters and in Victoria against the Generals before a split series against the Baton Rouge Ragarou where the Cutters will be back at home next Wednesday. Tune into TCLTV all week long to watch the Acadiana Cane Cutters tomorrow night at 7 PM in Seguin. |
