BRENNEN VINSON NAMED SALES AND OPERATIONS EXECUTIVE

02/20/2025 10:00 AM -

The Acadiana Cane Cutters have announced Brennen Vinson as the new Sales and Operations Executive ahead of the 2025 season.

The Leesville native attended Pickering High School and continued his education at Louisiana State University.  Brennen graduated from LSU in 2024 with a degree in Sport Administration.

“ At LSU, I got to witness first hand what it takes to run a successful athletics program.  I was beyond blessed to have been able to attend such a prestigious institution,” Vinson commented

While in school, Brennen began his career in sports working for the Baton Rouge Zydeco of the Federal Prospects Hockey League. After the Zydeco, he would spend some time working for Perkin Hockey Group (the ownership group of the Monroe Moccasins).

After graduation, Brennen began his career in baseball with the Greeneville Flyboys of the Appalachian League doing Marketing and Promotions for the organization.  The Flyboys would go on to win “Organization of the Year” for the 2024 season.  Brenne views his time with the Flyboys as a "turning point” in his career.

“I couldn’t be where I am today in my career without my time with the Flyboys. Brandon Bouschart and Matthew White took a chance on a kid from Leesville and led me so well.  I also had a great team I got to work with.  Tim, Murphy, Matt, Kellie, McKenna, and Zane.  We were a well oiled machine by the end of the season.”

Brennen brings experience from his time in the Appalachian League and the FPHL as well as a love for baseball in Louisiana.

“I am so excited to be given this opportunity.  Being able to pursue my dream while also doing it in the great state of Louisiana is something I never thought was possible when I was a kid.  The Cane Cutters are an established member of Acadiana. I am so grateful to be even a footnote in the rich history of this organization.”
