Following four days off as a result of a series rainout versus the Brazos Valley Bombers, the Cane Cutter returned to action with a 5-3 win over the Texas Marshals on Tuesday night.
With a 4-3 win over the Victoria Generals the Cane Cutters gained critical ground in a close race for a first-half automatic bid to the TCL playoffs. After Monday’s win Acadiana is now in control of the second and final playoff spot up for grabs before the All-Star Break.
The Cane Cutters came away from Nutrabolt Stadium with an 8-1 win on Wednesday night. With the win, Acadiana improves to 10-6 on the season, just two games behind the first-place Brazos Valley Bombers.
