Cutters Fall to Bombers

BRYAN, Tx. (August 3, 2018)- The Acadiana Cane Cutters traveled to Travis Field to take on the Brazos Valley Bombers, dropping the series opener 10-1.

The only run scored by the Cutters came in the third inning after a walk was delivered to second baseman Mason Corbett (Texas A&M). Cole Secrest (Lamar University) followed with a single to get on base. First baseman Preston Faulkner (SE Lousiana) then brought in Corbett with an RBI single.

The Cutters will be back at Fabacher Field again Sunday (8/5) against the Texas Marshals. It will be Strikeout Cancer Night! The Cane Cutters will be wearing custom jerseys with the names of people who are battling or have battled cancer on them!
