YOUNGSVILLE, La. (June 3, 2018) The Cane Cutters drop the series to the Brazos Valley Bombers with a 10-6 loss Sunday night at Fabacher Field.  The Cutters took a two-run lead in the second inning for a score of 3-1.

The Bombers came back in the third to tie the game, and would add to their lead in the fifth, later extending it in the sixth and seventh inning.

The Cutters tried to rally in the eighth inning, scoring three runs.  The team found themselves with bases loaded but a ground out to second base would end the inning.  The game ended with a scoreless ninth inning.
