Youngsville, LA (March 21, 2017)- The Cane Cutters add a pair of Privateers from the University of New Orleans. Bryan Warzek and former St. Thomas More Cougar, Orynn Veillon will be joining the team for the 2017 season.

Warzek, a LHP from Clifton Park, NY, has a record of 3-0 this season with the Privateers. In 5 appearances, Warzek has pitched 30.1 innings, fanned 36 batters, and has only allowed 3 earned runs. The Cane Cutters are excited to add this lefty to the 2017 rotation.

As a redshirt freshman, Veillon ranked 10th in the NJCAA with 38 stolen bases while batting .363 with 51 RBI, 7 home runs, 3 triples, 7 doubles, and 57 hits before transferring to UNO for the 2017 campaign.
