The Texas Collegiate League is announcing a playoff schedule change due to the weather conditions in Louisiana and the complementing severe rain forecasts for early next week in Texas.

The TCL will fast forward the playoffs and have a championship game tomorrow night at Nutrabolt Stadium between the two teams with the best overall regular season record. The Brazos Valley Bombers will host the Acadiana Cane Cutters for the game of the year. 

The Cane Cutters are still slated to start Brian Browning from Ole Miss. 

The Championship game will be a winner-take-all, with the victors of the Bombers vs. Cane Cutters being announced the 2016 TCL Champions and that team will receive the Haddock Championship Trophy.

Acadiana will go for their first TCL title since joining the league in 2011.
