Austin Knight (Ole Mis) scored Cameron Dishon (Ole Miss) on a sacrifice fly to right field to start the scoring. The Cane Cutters would score another run in the 7th inning when Alex Tucker (Nicholls State) scored Trent Giambrone (Jones County Community College) on another sacrifice fly. Knight would pick up his second RBI of the ball game in the top of the 8th inning to score Connor Barron (Southern Mississippi) for the third and final run of the ball game for Acadiana.
